We are on Bus Route 106
Purple Crow at Whitaker Park is on the Winton-Salem Transit Authority bus route 106. Our building is on a transit line due to the advocacy of our neigh-birds at Second Harvest. When they moved in up here (before we did) they were able to champion the need to be on a bus route. We are grateful for their voice and vision.
This morning, we hosted Scott Andree-Bowen, a city council member leading efforts to improve public transportation. It was great to hear his heart for our neighbors and learn about his time as an educator at Philo-Hill. He is letting his light shine in our town. We welcome Scott into Crowminty!
