Providence

Providence means divine guidance, the protective care of God, or the careful management of resources, according to Webster. Today, at the end of a great week, we are certainly feeling it.

We had the privilege of welcoming two interns from Second Harvest Food Bank’s outstanding Providence Kitchen program. As we provided them with an opportunity for hands-on job training, they, in turn, became a tremendous encouragement to us in the Crow Bar.

Their knife skills, strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to multitask in a busy kitchen were agents of grace. They made a positive impact on our team and reminded us of the power of God’s providence.
