Add to the Beauty
Creation is beautiful, and everywhere we look, it reminds us of God's great love for the world He has made. Our fountain is one small way we can add to that beauty. By restoring it, we are doing more than repairing a landmark. We are helping bring renewed life and hope to this neighborhood.
People often stop to tell us how grateful they are that the fountains are flowing again. They share memories of visiting them years ago and speak of the joy they felt sitting nearby, watching the water dance and sparkle. Before this project, I never fully realized how deeply these fountains had become symbols of life, renewal, and hope. Their return has reminded us that beauty matters. It lifts our spirits, strengthens our sense of community, and points us toward something greater than ourselves.
The ancient words of David the psalmist capture this truth perfectly:
Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light. Psalm 36:5-9
